As associate editor at HealthyWomen, Kim works closely with the editor-in-chief in developing and editing stories. She is also instrumental in developing other forms of content, including special reports, videos and infographics.
Kim is an editor and copywriter with more than 25 years of experience. She started her career as a copywriter and producer at the Southeast's largest full-service advertising agency, The Tombras Group. Since then, she has worked for a wide variety of clients, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to indie authors across multiple industries and topics.
Kim's an expert when it comes to knowing the rules of grammar, punctuation, usage and style, and her strong writing background and intuitive sense means she knows when to apply the rules and when to break them to elevate all forms of writing and communications.
She holds a bachelor's degree in communications from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, as well as a master's degree in advertising from The University of Tennesse, Knoxville. She lives in Towson, Maryland, with her husband, three children, and a menagerie of pets.
