As HealthyWomen’s editorial director, Kim oversees the production of all content and ensures that it is aligned with our mission, meets our high editorial standards and captures our brand voice.

Kim is an award-winning editor and copywriter with more than 25 years of experience. She started her career as a copywriter and broadcast producer at the Southeast’s largest full-service advertising agency, The Tombras Group. Since then, she has edited and written for a wide variety of clients, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to indie authors across multiple industries and topics.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, as well as a master’s degree in communications/advertising from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Kim lives in Maryland with her husband, three children and a menagerie of pets.

Jacquelyne Froeber

Jacquelyne Froeber is an award-winning journalist and editor. She holds a BA in journalism from Michigan State University. She is the former editor-in-chief of Celebrated Living magazine and has editing and writing experience for print and online publications, including Health magazine, Coastal Living magazine and AARP.org.

As a breast cancer survivor, Jacquelyne encourages everyone to perform self-exams and get their yearly mammograms.

NWHRC Supports BED BATH & BEYOND's "GAME SET HEALTH" Event in Charleston, South Carolina

"GAME SET HEALTH " is a Celebration of Wellness and Healthy Lifestyles for Women and Families


The National Women's Health Resource Center is pleased to join Bed Bath & Beyond in presenting "Game Set Health," a health event celebrating wellness and healthy lifestyles for women and families. The event in Charleston, SC, on Monday, April 12, marks the first collaboration between the NWHRC and a major retailer.

"The NWHRC is pleased to be working with Bed Bath & Beyond at this landmark health and wellness event," said Amy Niles, NWHRC's president and CEO. "Combining our women's health expertise and their marketing knowledge, "Game Set Health" will reach thousands of women with important health and wellness messages."

"This is a great opportunity to reach consumers with important health screenings, community programs and health education materials, commented Elizabeth A. Battaglino, RN, NWHRC's director of marketing and consumer affairs. "We welcome working with retail partners such as Bed Bath and Beyond who are committed to the health and well being of their consumers and look forward to expanding this type of program."

The event is being held at the same time as the 2004 Family Circle Cup Women's Tennis Association Tournament.

Also present at the event is the General Electricr Women's Health & Wellness Tour, sponsored by Every Woman Magazine and by Trident Health Systems. Two state-of-the art interactive mobile units will provide free health screenings including bone density and blood pressure, as well as information and demonstrations on healthy living.
