Kim Ledgerwood

Editorial Director, HealthyWomen

As HealthyWomen’s editorial director, Kim oversees the production of all content and ensures that it is aligned with our mission, meets our high editorial standards and captures our brand voice.

Kim is an award-winning editor and copywriter with more than 25 years of experience. She started her career as a copywriter and broadcast producer at the Southeast’s largest full-service advertising agency, The Tombras Group. Since then, she has edited and written for a wide variety of clients, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to indie authors across multiple industries and topics.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, as well as a master’s degree in communications/advertising from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Kim lives in Maryland with her husband, three children and a menagerie of pets.

Jacquelyne Froeber

Senior Editor, HealthyWomen

Jacquelyne Froeber is an award-winning journalist and editor. She holds a BA in journalism from Michigan State University. She is the former editor-in-chief of Celebrated Living magazine and has editing and writing experience for print and online publications, including Health magazine, Coastal Living magazine and AARP.org.

As a breast cancer survivor, Jacquelyne encourages everyone to perform self-exams and get their yearly mammograms.

Wes Metheny

Wes Metheny designs and leads major public affairs campaigns and provides strategic business insights for innovators in health care, including biopharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers, and consumer health companies. Prior to starting PQP, Wes led the transformation of the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America into one of the nation's most effective advocacy organizations and recognized force for public policies that support access to medicines and future medical advancements. As PhRMA's Senior Vice President of Advocacy, Wes developed a network of alliances and strategies to impact public policies with organizations representing patients, healthcare providers, business leaders, organized labor, minorities and the disabled, and formulated campaign strategies to shape public opinion.


During the national debate on health care reform, Wes led PhRMA's national advocacy campaign to help shape and pass the Affordable Care Act. Under his leadership, PhRMA also created many successful initiatives to support the lives of patients, including the Partnership to Fight Chronic Disease, the Medicare Rx Education Network and the Partnership for Prescription Assistance, the world's largest private sector assistance program for uninsured and underinsured patients.

Prior to joining PhRMA, Wes served as Director of Government Affairs and Grassroots for the Healthcare Leadership Council, a coalition of chief executives of the nation's leading healthcare companies, and worked for the U.S. Senate Sergeant-at-Arms.

Wes graduated from the University of Maryland and lives in Annapolis, Maryland with his wife and three children.
