Robin McIntyre

Robin McIntyre-Johnson is a hairstylist, entrepreneur and passionate advocate for families affected by dominantly inherited Alzheimer’s disease. After learning that she carries a genetic mutation associated with early-onset familial Alzheimer’s, Robin became involved in clinical research and has dedicated herself to raising awareness about the urgent need for continued treatment and a cure.

Alongside her husband, Charles, Robin co-founded the White Flower Foundation, a nonprofit supporting families and research through the Dominantly Inherited Alzheimer Network (DIAN). Her advocacy is deeply personal: She is both a research participant and a voice for others facing the uncertainty of a genetic Alzheimer’s diagnosis.

Robin continues to build her hairstyling business in Las Vegas while using her experience to encourage open conversations about genetic testing, clinical trials and the importance of hope. She believes that sharing her story can help others feel less alone and remind them that a diagnosis does not define the whole of a person’s life.
