Heather Curley
Heather Curley was born and raised in Clearwater, Fl. A month before she turned 5, her dad passed away unexpectedly in a car accident. Heather and her sister were raised by the most generous, loving, kind, independent, and strongest woman on this planet — a literal angel on earth. She dedicated her whole being to giving Heather and her sister the absolute best childhood.
Heather knew from an early age that she wanted to be successful on her own and not have to depend on anyone. She graduated high school and learned during one semester of college that it wasn’t for her. She had been going to the same hair stylist for years and admired her independence and success so immediately started cosmetology school and has been a hair stylist for 17+ years. Heather bought her first house at 25 years old. Every year, she earned more income, and she loved the hustle and the relationships she built. Heather also reached financial goals she never imagined, doing something she loved so much (until cancer stole that from her).
Heather married her husband, Dennis, when she was 26 years old. They were married 4 years before deciding to have a child. Their precious baby girl was born in Oct 2019. Heather was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer at the age of 32, and she believes that her daughter was sent to her to help her wake up every day and fight for her life.
No one in Heather’s family has ever had any type of cancer. The cancer was in her breast, axillary and mammary lymph nodes, thyroid, stomach, spleen, liver, kidney, and her whole skeletal system. Just when Heather thought it couldn’t get worse, six months into her journey, her doctors found a super rare secondary cancer called leptomeningeal carcinoma. Heather could not fight this disease without the help of her husband, daughter and mom, who taught her how to be strong, even on the hardest days. She has the world’s best support system and feels as though she couldn’t be more blessed.
