Recognize a Nurse for Exceptional Service, Sacrifice or Innovation

The National Women's Health Resource Center welcomes the opportunity to join nursing associations from across the country to encourage nominations for the Inspired Comfort Award.

The Cherokee Inspired Comfort Award recognizes exceptional performance, dedication and caring by non-physician healthcare professionals. The award is offered by Cherokee Uniforms, providers of apparel to the healthcare industry.

Anyone can submit a nomination. Nominations typically have involved nurses who have positive attitudes, who serve their patients and colleagues with compassion and selfless dedication.

"We are pleased to be able to help make people aware of this important program," said Amy Niles, President and CEO for the NWHRC. "It is one way in which we can recognize the exceptional service, dedication and professionalism nurses provide in today's healthcare industry." Niles added that the NWHRC is also working with the leading publishers of nursing journals Lippincott Williams & Wilkins on their Guide for Women's Health, a publication for nurses.

The Resource Center has been providing information for over a decade to help nurses, their family, their friends, and their patients make smart lifestyle decisions.
