As HealthyWomen’s editorial director, Kim oversees the production of all content and ensures that it is aligned with our mission, meets our high editorial standards and captures our brand voice.

Kim is an award-winning editor and copywriter with more than 25 years of experience. She started her career as a copywriter and broadcast producer at the Southeast’s largest full-service advertising agency, The Tombras Group. Since then, she has edited and written for a wide variety of clients, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to indie authors across multiple industries and topics.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, as well as a master’s degree in communications/advertising from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Kim lives in Maryland with her husband, three children and a menagerie of pets.

Jacquelyne Froeber

Jacquelyne Froeber is an award-winning journalist and editor. She holds a BA in journalism from Michigan State University. She is the former editor-in-chief of Celebrated Living magazine and has editing and writing experience for print and online publications, including Health magazine, Coastal Living magazine and AARP.org.

As a breast cancer survivor, Jacquelyne encourages everyone to perform self-exams and get their yearly mammograms.

International Webcast on "Managing Menopause" to Feature NWHRC Speaker

April 22 Event to Help Journalists Cover the Topic of Menopause Post-WHI


The National Women's Health Resource Center (NWHRC) has been selected to participate in an international webcast, "Menopause after WHI - Implications for Clinical Practice and the Individual Woman." The panel discussion will take place at the 5th International Symposium on Women's Health and Menopause in Florence, Italy on April 22, 2004.

"We are honored to be asked to participate in this landmark event," said Amy Niles, President and CEO of the NWHRC. "It recognizes our success in helping women understand and sort through the complex information about hormone therapy that has emerged in the last two years since the halt of the Women's Health Initiative study. Our goal is to help every woman work with her health care professional to understand her personal health risks and make the right individualized treatment choice."

Representing the NWHRC at the webcast will be Elizabeth A. Battaglino, RN. Ms. Battaglino is Director of Marketing and Consumer Affairs for NWHRC and a practicing obstetrical nurse.

The discussion will be broadcast live via www.lorenzinifoundation.org and www.obgyn.net from 12:00-1:30pm Eastern, 6:00-7:30pm Italy. Replay of the webcast will be available online for at least three months and a CD-ROM archive is planned.
