I am very familiar with chronic pain in my body since 2009 maybe  a year earlier..After being hurt at my place of employment I wanted to know more about pain in the body. I was referred by professor to enroll in a Coursera course on Pain Management and this is where I learned so much about pain issues in the body.  Our professor said it's about the 20/80 Rule. With the 20% coming from the doctor meaning he gives you a diagnosis and information how to make yourself better with the 80%. It works when you have an idea where pain start and where it goes in the body you can apply tools to help eliminate the pain.

I am not totally pain free perhaps I may never be pain free,I do know I control the pain and not pain controlling me. I am always willing to seek out new innovative resources to see if they work for my pain. I watch what I eat for me nutrition plays a huge roll in decreased pain. I can remember in 2009 telling the emergency room doctor to cut my leg off if he could not give me some medicine. I was a miserable woman that night. I prayed and asked God to help me. And he did eventually the doctor gave some narcotics, crutches and some patches. Can you believe they thought my pain was due to drug use. I don't use the stuff.

Today I still have pain in my feet and ankles due to plantar fasciitis and that is no fun. I not sure which was worse the leg or the feet. At any rate my accident on the city bus twisted my feet on the ramp after falling and now I am hurting a lot.  Whatever I did before I continue to do now to get relief..
