Organization's Mission Statement:

Procter & Gamble has a long history of providing products which enhance the health of women and the quality of their lives - products such as Tampax, Always, Oil of Olay, and pharmaceutical products such as Macrobid (nitrofurantoin monohydrate/macrocrystals).

At P&G we are making a major commitment to address the health concerns of women. Our researchers are working on several new therapies in key areas that are important to women's health. We currently market pharmaceutical products for the treatment of menopausal symptoms, hypertension, urinary tract infections and ulcers.

We are also a founding sponsor of the Partnership for Women's Health at Columbia, the first collaboration between academic medicine and the private sector focused solely on improving women's health through understanding the differences between men and women and educating physicians and consumers about those differences.

P&G is also a long-standing sponsor of Speaking of Women's Health. Through our support of these organizations and the continued investment in women's health products, P&G makes every day better for women in every way we can.
