New Online College Health Guide Gives Women the Answers They Need To Have a Healthy and Safe Year
Red Bank, NJ: The not-for-profit National Women's Health Resource Center (NWHRC) today launched their online Back-to-School Health Guide for College-Age Women, which provides the latest information on the major health issues facing college women today, including a crash course on contraception. The guide, housed at the NWHRC Web site, fmxhosting.com/drupal635, gives tips and guidance on getting healthy and staying healthy, college-style.
"College is an exciting time, but within the college culture there are a variety of health threats women should know about, including the risks for STI's, lack of sleep and depression," said Audrey Sheppard, president and CEO of the NWRHC. "Many college-age women are making important health decisions on their own for the first time and we want to give them the information they need to make the most informed health choices."
