Julie Kampf
Julie Kampf is CEO, President and Founder of JBK Associates, Inc., an award winning, executive talent solutions firm providing a wide array of talent options including retained executive search, leadership/organizational development and talent management strategies, across industries and functional specialties. Her industry and search experience spans almost three decades. With headquarters in Englewood, NJ, other regional offices include West Palm Beach, Fla. and Atlanta.
Julie launched JBK Associates in 2003 to create a search firm that shows deep respect for clients and candidates, as well as her employees. Certified by WBENC as a women-owned business, the firm has received many honors from well-known organizations including Working Mother Magazine, Forbes, The American Business Awards and most recently, JBK has joined the ranks of Inc.’s fastest growing privately held companies in the US. Julie expanded the company by creating SummitSearchUS in 2007 to serve the staffing needs of organizations seeking middle-management talent and then subsequently, she launched Career Central in 2008 as a platform to help companies and individuals maximize talent through various leadership and organizational development offerings including coaching, training, workshops and assessments. In recognition of her success, Julie has been honored as a Best Entrepreneur by the Stevie Awards for Women in Business, named one of the Top 100 Most Influential People in the Life Sciences Industry by PharmaVOICE, a New Jersey Biz Best 50 Women in Business, an Enterprising Woman of The Year, and A Girl Scout Woman of Achievement, and most recently, as one of the Top 25 Leading Women Entrepreneurs for 2012 by New Jersey Magazine.
Julie’s many volunteer activities reflect her commitment to women and diversity. She serves on Howard University’s John H. Johnson School of Communications Board of Visitors, is a founding member of the Bergen County (NJ) chapter of Women United in Philanthropy, and is a past-President of the Metro chapter of the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association. She serves on the Advisory Boards for the Linkage Diversity Summit and Enterprising Woman Magazine and the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association Metro Chapter. She has served on the Board of Directors of the International Association of Corporate and Professional Recruitment (IACPR) and on the Girl Scout Council of Bergen County. In her spare time, she has raised money for charities including Guiding Eyes for the Blind, Table To Table, and The Women’s Health and Counseling Center.
Julie earned a BA in Political Science from the University of Rhode Island, where she minored in Marketing. She lives in Bergen County, New Jersey, with her family.
