The Importance of Preventative Care During COVID-19

HealthyWomen, along with GCI Health and Prevention Magazine, conducted a survey in June 2020 asking women about their concerns, attitudes and thoughts regarding healthcare and preventative screenings during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. Results from that survey led to this article, focusing on why women are not making and/or keeping their preventative care screenings during the pandemic. HealthyWomen CEO Beth Battaglino, RN, along with Marsha Henderson, a Board of Director at HealthyWomen, were both interviewed and quoted for the article.
