Benjamin S. Fialkoff, PhD

Benjamin S. Fialkoff is a clinical psychologist and hypnotherapist in independent practitioner since 1987. He earned his PhD from Yeshiva University and completed his training at St. Vincent's Hospital and Medical Center in New York City where he was a Senior Staff Psychologist. He is a licensed psychologist with offices in Greenwich Village, N.Y., and Ridgewood, N.J.

Dr. Fialkoff specializes in hypno-behavioral psychotherapeutic techniques and is certified in clinical hypnosis by the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis. He provides treatment for phobias, depression and stress; helps people cope with the psychological effects of illness; and provides deep relaxation training to control fear, pain or anxiety related to childbirth, dentistry, sports, habit control (smoking, overeating), tests, sales and stress.
Dr. Fialkoff is also certified APA-CPP in substance use disorders from the American Psychological Association's Board of Governors of the APA College of Professional Psychology. He has been an EAP provider nationwide for over 15 years.

He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, the American Association of Professional Hypnotherapists, the National Guild of Hypnotists, the National Board for Certified Clinical Hypnotherapists and the American Psychological Association and its Divisions of Sport Psychology and Hypnosis.
