Mary Driscoll
Assistant Professor, Yale School of Medicine
Dr. Driscoll is a Research Psychologist in the Pain Research, Informatics, Multi-morbidities and Education (PRIME) Center of Innovation at VA Connecticut, a pain consultant for VA's Women's Health Services and an Associate Research Scientist at the Yale School of Medicine. Clinically, she has established a health psychology clinic for women Veterans at the VA Connecticut Healthcare Center.
In 2016 she was awarded a VA VISN 1 Career Development Award to pilot a reciprocal peer support pain self-management intervention for women Veterans with chronic pain and later she received a supplemental Patterson Trust Award to examine temporal associations between relational burden and pain outcomes in this same population. Her clinical and research interests are rooted in understanding gender disparities in pain and pain treatment and in the development and tailoring of evidence based psychosocial pain interventions that leverage technology.
