Menopause and Bone Health

womanHave you ever thought about how you would manage if you broke a bone? For postmenopausal women, this is an important question as they're the group most likely to suffer from osteoporosis.

Osteoporosis, which literally means "porous bones," is a disease that thins and weakens bones, making them fragile and more likely to break. The good news is there's plenty you can do, like strength training and eating well, to prevent and treat osteoporosis.
