Harriette Miles Scarpero, MD

Harriette Miles Scarpero, MD, is in private practice with Associated Urologists in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Scarpero earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. She completed an internship in general surgery and a residency in urology at LSU Health Sciences Center and Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans. Her training also included a fellowship in female urology and voiding dysfunction at New York University School of Medicine. She was previously an associate professor and program director in the Department of Urologic Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.

Dr. Scarpero is a diplomate of the American Board of Urology. She is also an active member of the American Urologic Association and on the Executive Boards of the Society of Women in Urology and the Society of Urodynamics and Female Urology.

She is actively involved in clinical research in the areas of voiding dysfunction, female urology and voiding dysfunction education, and interstitial cystitis.
