Diabetes and Sexual Functioning

My partner and I both have diabetes and high blood pressure. I often don't feel sexually aroused (and certainly cannot climax), and he cannot hold an erection long enough to please me. Is there some type of sexual act or position that we can explore that will please us both?

Vaginal Thinning

I have been sexually inactive for about a year now, but prior to that I had no problem achieving one or more orgasms. When I went for my annual gynecological exam, my doctor said I had vaginal thinning and prescribed Premarin 0.625mg/gm cream 1gm PV. I have a sister who is a breast cancer survivor, so I am concerned about taking any kind of hormone therapy. My question: Are there other health concerns associated with vaginal thinning or should I not worry about it unless it affects my ability to have pleasurable sex?

Two to seven days after I have sex (which is sometimes painful) with my male companion, I begin to bleed. Could this be a result of the blood thinner I take?

Do I have a sex addiction?

I am 35 years old and think I may have a sex addiction. I continue to act out sexually (e.g., having sex with strangers often) even though I have promised myself I will stop. How do I end this compulsive behavior?

Absence of Sex Life After Years of Marriage

I am 53 and have been married for 13 years, but my husband and I have not had sex in four years. I have told him that I long for the intimacy and sexual pleasure we once shared. He says that he has found "peace within" and no longer feels the need for sex. I really love him, but I feel abandoned, unloved and insecure. He does not want us to seek counseling. What can I do?

Honeymoon Cystitis

I am 64 years old, and I have two sexual partners. With one, every time we have intercourse, I get a bladder infection. I take Macrobid to clear this up, but I don't like having to do this. I don't see this partner very often (approximately four times a year) since we live in different cities, but I would like to avoid these infections. Why does this happen, and what can we do to prevent it? I do not experience these infections after having intercourse with my other partner.

Vaginal Bleeding After Intercourse

I am 36 and recently had intercourse with a new partner who has a long penis. The sex was pleasurable and not painful, but afterwards there was blood on his penis and on the bed. This sort of thing has never happened to me before and I'm worried that it might be more serious.
