I smiled as I listened to the many fond interviews in Love, Gilda, a documentary detailing the life and career of beloved actress and comic Gilda Radner. Interviews featured some of Radner's fellow Saturday Night Live cast and crew including: actors Chevy Chase and Laraine Newman, band member Paul Shaffer, creator and producer Lorne Michaels, and writer Alan Zweibel, as well as Broadway composer Stephen Schwartz, Second City comedy club CEO Andrew Alexander, and longtime friend Martin Short.
I love to stroll the aisles and see what's trending at BookExpo America (BEA), where publishers introduce their new novels, memoirs, cookbooks and nonfiction titles.
It was held in May at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City. BookCon, a similar show open to the public, is the weekend after BEA in the same venue and features entertaining programs with authors.

Not something I wanted to hear on the eve of my 60th birthday.
You Have Bladder Cancer
I asked my urologist Dr. F three times if he really said the "C" word. Mind you, I had never seen a urologist before.
Throughout my entire first pregnancy with my son Max, I couldn’t wait for him to come out. That big day came in the middle of the night on June 16th, 2006, and we were off to the hospital to finally meet our son.
"Current 10-year-olds may age to be 104," said Jo Ann Jenkins, CEO of AARP, as she kicked off a conversation about longevity at the 2018 AARP Disrupt Aging: The Implications of Living 100 Forum, powered by Forbes and held at the Newseum in Washington, D.C., last month.
