America's Health Insurance Plans
While buying your own health insurance is usually the most costly option for the amount of coverage provided, it is still an option. For tips and more information on getting insured, visit the America's Health Insurance Plan's Web site at www.ahip.org or call them at 202-778-3200.

The America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) is a trade association representing the private health care system. Its nearly 1,300 members provide health, long-term care, dental, disability and supplemental coverage to more than 200 million Americans. It provides a variety of consumer information, as well as publications on health care premiums, disability insurance and long-term care coverage, and health insurance plan links.
