"When my Crohn's is under control, it's the best time of my life," says Nancy Kennedy, a 47-year-old nurse and mother of three, who has been treated for Crohn's disease for nearly 30 years. Kennedy is one of an estimated 1.5 million Americans who suffer from inflammatory bowel disease.
