What You Know About Sun Protection May Be Wrong

s you head outside for some warm weather fun, consider this: Research shows that a majority of sunscreen users get sunburned. What's more, sunscreen use is linked to the rising rate of skin cancer.

If that sounds as if something's wrong, it is. Many of us don't know as much as we think we do about protecting ourselves from the damaging rays of the sun. Regardless of whether your skin tone is pale or dark, you'll find updated guidance on how not to become a skin cancer statistic in this month's main article, "Sunscreen Smarts for Every Body."

Are you feeling achy after a long day in front of the computer or pushing yourself a bit while exercising? This issue's Fitness Minute offers some self-massage tips to help soothe your muscles.

In our Ask the Trainer column, find out what the trainer recommends as she answers questions on avoiding back pain by strengthening your core and which exercise equipment is best for beginners.
