"Last year, I didn't make any resolutions. I set a goal that I wanted to lose weight, eat more healthy foods, and not diet. I lost 40 lbs and have kept 35 of those lbs off. Making that goal gave me something to strive for and achieve. I'm already in the process of making goals for 2005."

"My husband and I always choose to live where we can walk - walk to work, walk to the grocery store, walk to the library, walk in the woods, if possible. Sometimes, I have needed the car for work, so we have had to make special arrangements. I have driven to work, so I had access to the car all day. At the end of his workday, my husband has walked from his work to mine, and driven the car home so I could get my daily walk home in. That's how important walking is to us."
