Washington University School of Medicine Family Study of Major Depression

Organization's Website Mission: Theodore Reich, M.D., Samuel and Mae S. Ludwig Professor of Psychiatry and Genetics at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, will help lead an international team of geneticists from eight centers in the United States and Europe in an attempt to uncover the genetic basis of Major Depression. It is hoped that this study will provide insight into genetic and environmental factors associated with unipolar depression.
