| Organization's Mission Statement: Greater Washington Coalition for Cancer Survivors (GWCCS) is people of all ages, from all walks of life, and from all over the Washington, DC, to Baltimore metropolitan areas who have come together because of what they have in common – they are surviving cancer.
In the greater Washington, DC-Baltimore area GWCCS serves as a voice for survivors and survivorship interests. Its concern is with cancer-related issues that affect the quality of lives, including medical treatment, patient-doctor relationships, family and social life, insurance, employment discrimination and consumer education. |
