FDA Breast Implant Information Hotline

The Consumer Affairs Staff of FDA’s Office of Communication, Education, and Radiation Programs (OCER) is responsible for answering breast implant calls from consumers and distributing the breast implant handbook.

To receive a copy of the breast implant handbook, please call 1-888-463-6332. When prompted, press 2, press 1, press 4, press 1, and then 4. You will be prompted to leave contact information, and a Consumer Affairs Specialist will respond within 48 hours. The breast implant handbook may also be obtained by visiting FDA’s website at http://www.fda.gov/cdrh/breastimplants.
