Yeast infection

(Candidiasis) An infection caused by a fungus called Candida. Yeast is found in the healthy vagina, but an overgrowth of yeast can cause infection that results in abnormal discharge, irritation and itching.

Yellow fever

An acute destructive infectious disease of warm regions marked by sudden onset, prostration, fever, jaundice and often hemorrhage. Yellow fever is caused by a virus transmitted by the yellow-fever mosquito.

Yoga

A popular flexibility activity that incorporates breathing exercises, stretching and moving the body slowly, and relaxation and visualization.
