Migraine: A maldynia condition caused by a biologically based disorder whose symptoms are the result of changes in the brain. Lasting from two to six hours, migraines are accompanied by throbbing pain, nausea, visual symptoms, such as flashing lights, zigzag lines or partial loss of vision and sensitivity to sound and smells.
