So You Think You Can't?…

For many, midlife can be a liberating time—a time that ushers in newfound confidence and freedom; a time when what we say and feel are unbound by the limitations of our egos, doubts and insecurities. Rather than face midlife as a crisis, look at it as an opportunity to embrace growth and positive change and learn new things.

While some of us embrace this new phase of life, others limit themselves, feeling like if they haven't done something by now, they're just never gonna do it. You might feel bound by your advancing age, intimidated by the numbers, convinced that the best years are behind you. You may lament: "I'm too old to lose weight/mellow out/exercise/get healthy/have a good relationship/make a change."

That's why, at MidlifeMatters, we're starting this new series, "So You Think You Can't?…"

We're out to prove you wrong. Because midlife does matter.

So, you think you can't do something? Now's the time to go out there and try; change is within your reach.
