womenTALK Twitter Chat
WomenTALKâJoin the Conversation!
You may have already seen the images on our homepage or announcements on Facebook and Twitter, but HealthyWomen has started a monthly Twitter chat called #WomenTALK.
Our monthly chat is a way for us to use social media to share information and insights about women's health topics and to hear from YOU, our readers.
We hear the questions you have about specific health conditions, new studies and guidelines, and we also know that you have a lot of great information and wisdom to share. Enter #WomenTALK.
Unfamiliar with Twitter chats?
A Twitter chat is a guided conversation among the Twitterverse on a specific topic. #WomenTALK is the monthly chat hosted by @HealthyWomen.
Each month we invite a special guest to share their insights on a specific health topic and answer questions from our followers. Our October chat focused on breastfeeding, and our November chat will be on caregiving.
When the chat starts, HealthyWomen will introduce the topic and the guests and kick things off with a question or two. From then on, the floor is yours. When you ask a question or share information, be sure to tag each post with the designated hashtag (#WomenTALK). This allows followers to easily follow along.
It tends to be a fast-paced discussion with a lot of great information being shared by experts and people who are passionate about the subject matter covered.
So how do I get involved?
- #WomenTALK typically takes place once a month on a Wednesday from 4-5 p.m. ET (1-2 p.m. PT).
- Head on over to Twitter and search for #WomenTALK. There you'll find tweets from @HealthyWomen and others on our most recent chat and updates announcing the next topic, day and time.
- Not active on Twitter? Share your questions with us via e-mail WomenTALK@healthywomen.org or on Facebook.
See you on Twitter!
