Caregiver of the Month: November 2012
Submitted by Kathy S.
I'd love to nominate my friend, Cyndie, for the recognition of Caregiver of the Month. Cyndie is a single mom to 10 year old Zachary, who was diagnosed with autism at the age of 2. Cyndie is a fierce advocate for autism awareness and research. She is tireless in her efforts to find outlets for Zachary to be able to communicate. She has sacrificed her career to be able to care for her son 24/7, and rarely takes the time to go and do a little something just for herself. Cyndie's #1 goal in life is to be able to hear three simple words from her son one day, "I love you."
