Pat Wingert, an award-winning journalist, has been a correspondent for Newsweek for the past 20 years. Her specialties include health, medicine, education, and demographics. She lives in Washington, D.C. Barbara Kantrowitz is a Newsweek senior editor whose beats include health, education and women's issues. She was part of a Pulitzer Prize-winning team of reporters at the Philadelphia Inquirer. She lives in New York City. Together, the authors write Newsweek.com's popular "Her Body" health column and have co-authored dozens of cover stories for the magazine.
