| | Organization's Mission Statement: At The Women's Health Connection, women can find information about
breast care, lymphedema, menopause, osteoporosis, fertility, pregnancy,
newborn care, and parenting. The program offers free nurse consultations
and support groups. Equipment rental programs (e.g., car seats, breast
pumps, pagers for expectant fathers) are available. Referrals are also made
to the appropriate health care providers.
At the center, staff want every woman to participate in decisions about her
health care. Professionals respect each woman's knowledge and opinions,
and do everything possible to personalize care. |
