| | Organization's Mission Statement: The Women's Health Service Line provides a comprehensive, integrated,
multisite program that meets the needs of women and their families
throughout life, including wellness and educational programming, traditional
care such as Obstetrics and Gynecology, and advanced services such as
Perinatology, Neonatology, GYN Oncology and Fertility.
The Women's Health Program is recognized nationally as a "pioneer" in
Women's Health Service Line Programming. Women's Health has inpatient
services that consist of : 25 LDRP Unit, 18-bed Newborn Intensive Care Unit
(NICU) and a 14-bed Gyn women's unit. Outpatient services consist of
full-time Perinatology for high risk pregnancy care, Gyn procedure rooms
(3), seven physician fertility program and diagnostic testing for pregnant
women (NSTs, Diabetic clinic, Coagulation clinic, and more).
Community outreach education is the other key component of the service
line: Lifetimes Membership program (4,400 strong), Lifetimes Monthly
education programs, Midlife/Wellness Consultation services including Bone
Density testing for osteoporosis and a Stress Incontinence Clinic. |
