Patricia D. Gurne, Esq.
Ms. Gurne is the Managing Partner of Gurne Porter, PLLC, a Washington, D.C. law firm. She represents organizations in a broad range of employment matters and has extensive experience defending employers before the EEOC and in litigation. Her practice includes conducting training seminars and workshops in risk management relating to personnel practices. She is a member of the Board of Trustees of The George Washington University and a member of the board's Executive Committee, Ms. Gurne also serves on the board of directors of the Washington Regional Transplant Consortium. Ms. Gurne is a former President of the Women's Bar Association and has served on the D.C. Bar Ethics Committee, the Judicial Evaluation Committee, the United States District Court Grievance Committee, and the Committee on Gender Bias of the D.C. Circuit Task Force on Gender and Race Bias. In 1999, she was named "Woman Lawyer of the Year" by the Women's Bar Association of Washington, D.C.
