Elizabeth A. Liotta, MD

Dr. Elizabeth Liotta attended medical school at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD, graduating in 1990. Then serving 15 years as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Navy Medical Corps, Dr. Liotta spent her first five years as a primary care physician in Navy clinics and aboard a ship assigned to the Middle East during Operation Desert Storm in 1991. Dr. Liotta was selected by the Navy to attend a Dermatology residency program at the National Naval Medical Center in 1996, and has been practicing Dermatology since 1999.

Dr. Liotta has been chosen by Novartis Pharmaceuticals to be a spokesperson for their dermatological product Elidel, and has volunteered to be a lecturer to dermatology residents in the Washington, DC area. In addition, she is a published author in several publications including the Archives of Dermatology and the Journal of Cutaneous Medicine and Surgery, as well as the Associate Medical Editor for the National Women's Health Center Book of Women's Health.

Dr. Liotta is Board certified in Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Montgomery County Medical Society and the Washington D.C. Dermatology Society.
